Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Roasted sweet potato fries are a delicious and wholesome alternative to traditional potato fries. The natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes is enhanced through the roasting process, creating a delightful contrast with Smoke and Roast. These fries are not only tasty but also provide a nutritious option, as sweet potatoes are rich in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons of Smoke and Roast
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or fresh rosemary, finely chopped)

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, sea salt, and rosemary until evenly coated.
  • Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with additional Smoke and Roast if desired.
Serve the roasted sweet potato fries as a tasty and nutritious side dish. They pair well with a variety of dipping sauces, such as garlic aioli or spicy ketchup.
