This is one of our favourite all-time recipes. Prawns with cherry tomatoes. It’s the quickest dish, ready in less than 5 minutes, and super flexible as you can serve it on a bed of fresh spinach, with some fresh veggies or top off some freshly cooked pasta.
Ingredients (serves 2):
400 grams of uncooked, shelled mid-sized prawns
1 punnet of cherry tomatoes slides in half
2 cloves of garlic crushed
30 grams of butter
A sprinkling of Smoke and Peri
Place the butter and garlic in a frypan and heat till the butter and garlic are sizzling. Add prawns and gently cook for a minute and then turn over. Throw in the cherry tomatoes and your sprinkle of Smoke and Peri. Look for your prawns to turn translucent and you’re done. The juices of the tomatoes should have released slightly and you end up with a creamy sauce that can be served up with your prawns.
